I first got into musical instruments around 2007 or so. During the past four years or so, I have seen pictures of some really unique instruments. Until about five minutes ago, I have never seen an instrument that looks like this:
This acoustic guitar has three necks: the standard six string and two small twelve strings. I can't tell what the thing on the back is, but judging by the bridge that is seen on a nylon string acoustic guitar, it may just be another neck. The picture is not very big, so it's difficult to tell the details of the twelve string necks. Honestly, I have no idea how someone would play a guitar like this. It looks extremely difficult to play and it looks like it would be hard to play it cleanly without accidentally hitting another string belonging to a different neck. I wouldn't say it would be impossible, but difficult? Yes.
its a manzer "pikasso"....
ReplyDeleteThis custom instrument was created for Pat Metheny in 1984. Linda and Pat collaborated on the design together.
